I am the old shagger from South Carolina. I have enjoyed your music. We call it "beach music" & of course we "shag" to it. Now, get your mind out of the gutter. I'm referring to the dance, the shag. It is South Carolina's Official State Dance (big f'ing deal) (it is here).

I must admit that you have entertained me immensely this evening and I just wanted to thank you for it. I stumbled across your pictures & it appears that you are a lady that enjoys herself. There were three things that caught my attention immediately. First was that you and your friends like to party and y'all are definitely not rookies at it. [y'all (like that) is southern for you all; we southerners take pride in our dialect but all those unfortunate foreigners who reside beyond the borders of the southeast think we murder the Queens English] Second thing that immediately got my attention was that y'all are beer drinkers. Just think it unusual - no scotch or bourbon. The third thing that was obvious is that y'all do not hold or touch hands while dancing. A good shagger will communicate with his or her partner (dancing, there goes your mind again) via the the hand. Different grips, how tight you hold her hand, whether you hold her hand or just with the tips of fingers, etc. Your parties look very similar to a shag club's shag party. Every town (almost all, no kidding) in the southeast has a shag club and they host shag parties. There are 8 or 9 shag clubs within a 30 mile radius of where I live, Winnsboro (just north of the state capital, Columbia). Therefore you might infer that we like to party too. [and we hope we get to shag when we get home] There goes my mind ...... forgiveness requested.
